Guest User Access
Many of our users have asked for a way to invite people outside of their organization to contribute to their ideas, campaigns, portfolios, and custom pages within Forest. Previously, the ability to share and access content was available only to users who are a part of their own organization. This made it challenging to collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders using Forest.
To make content more accessible to people outside of your organization, administrators can now invite and add guest users to your Forest account. Guest users can't be given admin privileges, but instead, they can access and contribute to specific content (i.e. ideas, campaigns, portfolios, custom pages, or evaluations) they are assigned to. You'll see a "Guest User" label next to a user's name for all content they are added to.

Announcement Images
Global and workspace admins use the announcement section on the main dashboard to communicate key initiatives or custom messages to their business unit. These announcements can contain links to campaigns, portfolios, custom pages, or external sites. However, admins didn’t have a way to draw more attention to their messages by adding images to their announcements.
In an effort to better direct users to the announcement section, we’ve added the ability for admins to upload images to announcements on the main dashboard. This feature will help make announcements stand out, and these images can be sized to your preference and linked to specific content within Forest or other external sites. If you’re an administrator, you’ll see this feature enhancement in the Admin area.

Bulk Edit Enhancements
Previously, there wasn’t a way for administrators to add or remove existing ideas from campaigns and portfolios in bulk. Admins needed to go in the ideas section for each content type to add or remove ideas one by one. This manual process can be quite cumbersome for some users.
To streamline this process, we’ve added several bulk edit enhancements to the admin area. Administrators can choose one or more ideas to bulk add/remove from campaigns or portfolios. Additionally, the bulk edit menu will indicate if any of the selected ideas already belong to these content types. This enhancement allows admins to quickly move existing ideas in and out of campaigns and portfolios.

Delete Content Improvements
If you’ve ever accidentally deleted an idea, campaign, portfolio, or custom page, you know how difficult it can be to restore that piece of content. In most cases, it’s not possible to bring that content back. This was especially frustrating to users that have deleted their idea, only to find out that they needed to access it again at a later time.
To solve this problem, we’ve updated the ability to delete content from Forest and have limited it to only workspace and global administrators. Non-admin users will need to partner with a workspace or global admin in order to remove a piece of content. We've also added an additional step which will require admins to type "DELETE" prior to the content being permanently deleted. While the process of archiving ideas remain unchanged, the delete content improvements are designed to help reduce the possibility of content accidentally being deleted from your account.
